The UV clarifier works by using ultra violet light which kills algae cells as they pass through. The dead algae and other contaminants are then removed by your biofilter. The clarifier's transparent universal inlet/outlet fittings allow for easy viewing of flow rate and bulb function. Compact, durable and weatherproof, the unit is easy to install and includes a 15'L power cord. Rated at 9W. Recommended for a pond size of up to 1800 gallons. The maximum water flow is 900GPH.
