Fenton's footed basket is handcrafted of Burmese glass, a heat-sensitive glass that contains gold and spent uranium in its formula. The glass turns from yellow to deep pink when it is reheated. This footed basket features a flared edge and a straight rib handle that is not "struck." Sanded for a smooth finish and handpainted with a tiny floral pattern and two purple butterflies.
